Return Policy

We believe that each Collection and product that we produce is as unique as the recycled sail it was cut from. We carefully cut each sail to preserve the distinguishing characteristics of the sail's previous life on the water. We stand behind all our products, so if you are not 100% satisfied with a product purchased you may return it within 14 days of purchase for a refund.

Salt Legacy’s products are made from recycled sail materials, which means that no two bags are alike, and signs of hard sailing may be present. Characteristics such as original sail stitching, grommets, rust marks, tell-tales, or other signs of the sail's previous life on the water are the part of it’s story/legacy!

With that said, if you receive a product that you believe is defective or damaged, please contact us immediately.

For any undamaged product, simply return it with its included accessories and packaging along with the original receipt within 14 days of the date you receive the product, and we will exchange it or offer a refund based on the original payment method.

Limited Warranty

Our warranty covers buckles, zippers, straps, and sewing deficiencies for 1 year from the date of purchase.  It does not cover material abrasion, holes, or tears that occur as a result of the improper treatment or handling of the product by the purchaser. The scope of our warranty does not include normal wear and tear or defects in the recycled sail cloth fabric itself because the material is upcycled and is not in new condition.  For items (such as zippers and buckles) that have worn out after the warranty period is over, we will happily provide repair services for a small fee. 
 
We guarantee all of our new products to be free of defects (with the exception of the recycled sail cloth) and will issue a refund or replace the items free of charge if they are found to be defective in any way within 14 days of receiving the product. If you aren't 100% satisfied with your Salt Legacy product, we'll find a way to make it right.  

 
We want our customers to love their products - if, upon receiving your item, you aren't happy with the product and have not used it, we'll send you a return label and issue a refund when it is returned. This period is only available within 14 days of receiving your product.
